What ReEntry does

Test your sell-and-rebuy strategy before it costs you anything

You hold a stock, prices rise, and you wonder: should I sell some now and buy back cheaper later? With real money, that question is stressful. With ReEntry, you practice the whole move — sell, wait, rebuy — using live market prices, and find out what would have happened.

Try it free

Real US stock prices

ReEntry pulls live market data so your simulated practice reflects what actually happened in the market.

Automatic simulated buyback

Set your target price once. ReEntry monitors the market and simulates the repurchase when the stock hits your level.

Clearly simulated, always

Every number is labeled. No real money moves, no brokerage connection. Just you, learning how this strategy performs.

Activity log for every rule

Track each rule from setup through watching to completion. See the simulated outcome alongside the actual price movement.

How it works

Three steps, entirely simulated

Step 1

Pick a holding and choose shares to sell

Select any stock from your simulated portfolio. Choose how many shares you want to practice selling. The simulated sale records at the current market price.

Step 2

Set the price where you want to rebuy

Enter a target buyback price below today's level. ReEntry watches the live market price and waits. The progress bar shows how close the stock is to your trigger.

Step 3

ReEntry simulates the buyback automatically

When the stock hits your target, ReEntry logs a simulated repurchase at that price. You see the complete result: shares sold, shares rebought, and whether the timing worked out.

Every other paper-trading tool was built for active traders who already know what they are doing. ReEntry is built for the investor who holds a few stocks, has an idea, and wants to see if it works before betting real money on it.

Common questions

Does ReEntry connect to my brokerage?

No. ReEntry never connects to any brokerage and never touches real money. Everything is fully simulated. You add your holdings manually and practice with real market prices.

Where do the stock prices come from?

ReEntry uses real US market data to monitor prices. When your target buyback price is reached, the simulated repurchase is logged at that real price.

Is this only for stocks I already own?

You can add any US stock to your simulated holdings and practice the sell-and-rebuy strategy on it, whether you own it in real life or not.

What is the sell-and-rebuy strategy exactly?

It is the idea of selling some shares at a higher price and buying them back when the stock dips. ReEntry lets you practice this without committing real money to test whether your timing is right.
